　　美国Centorr真空工业公司宣布将制造和销售一种新型多功能高温真空热压压机。这种热压炉可在真空、充满惰性气体的负压或正压下环境下工作，使用温度可高达1400℃（或更高）、最大工作压力达60吨（或更高），专门设计用于压制生产直径为4英寸的圆片。这种压机的温度控制可通过HoneywellDCP-550程控控制器来进行，而压力和定位控制则可通过UDC-3300 控制器来实现。

　　Centorr Vacuum Industries Inc (Nashua, NH, USA) has announced themanufacture and delivery of a new multi-purpose, high temperaturevacuum hot press with interchangeable metallic and graphite hotzones. The hot press can operate in vacuum, partial pressures aswell as positive pressures of inert gas. It is rated for operationto 1400°C and a force of 60 tons and is designed to press 4indiameter compacts. The unit is fitted with interchangeable pressplatens of graphite and molybdenum to allow for diffusion bondingoperation of powder compaction.
　　Temperature control is handled by a Honeywell DCP-550programmable controller, with both force control and position usingUDC-3300 controllers for independent profiles.The system is capableof high vacuum operation using a Varian Diffusion pump and amechanical pumping system. Centorr said that this unique systemwith interchangeable hot zone design was ideal for R&D programswhere high temperature material compatibility wasrequired.
